Backend Developer

Our client is looking for a Backend Developer available as soon as possible for a 3 month contract.

The developer would be supporting navigation development and should have the following skillset:

* Strong knowledge of Freemarker Template Language (FTL): Some business rules will be migrated from FTL to Java
* Experience with Apache Sling: Navigation relies on data structured in Sling
* Solid Java programming skills: Our code base is in Java, and the vehicle-fetching logic is built with it (based on Sling)
* Autonomous and proactive mindset: While the project is straightforward, understanding business logic and conducting investigations will be required.

This is a remote role – open to candidates in Toronto, ON.
