Investment Operation Analyst

Investment Operations Analyst is a core role with a principal focus on undertaking all aspects of the day-to-day investment operations responsibilities for client’s Hong Kong Fund Platform (Open-Ended Fund Companies) along with some wider operational requirements for the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with fund administrators on fund valuation, and NAV reports
• Ensuring industry best practice and documentation of internal controls, policies and procedures
• Maintaining service level agreements (SLAs)
• Updates to scheme documents including PPM updates and service provider agreements.
• Complete regulatory operational requirements for licences
• Ensure accuracy of fund compliance monitoring and reporting
• Ensure timeliness of portfolio reporting to portfolio manager for trading activity
• Provide assistance to investment committee for reporting and execution of action items
• Assist funding/portfolio managers with ad-hoc reporting

Requirements:

• 3+ years working in a similar role with exposure to Hong Kong Public Funds
• University degree in relevant field
• Proficient in English as well as Cantonese and Mandarin
• Inter-personal Knowledge of Funds operations particularly from distribution side of business
• Experience in supervising operation process
• Strong analytical mind, numerical skills and attention to details
• Effective communication and interpersonal skill
• Open minded, energetic, proactive, willing to learn and a good team player
• Proficient in Excel skills, knowledge in Macro and VBA will be an advantage
