Technical Business Analyst (6-month Contract)

The global IT vendor is seeking a 6-month contract Business Analyst to implement its digital transformation project on the client’s site:

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and document business functional requirements and non-functional requirements in the written template to support development and testing activities. Work closely with the Business Management Team during requirement analysis and design stages
• Develop within the Solution Analyst team an in-depth business process knowledge and technical/system skills related to Wagering functions/platform
• Mentor, train, motivate and develop staff to establish and maintain a knowledgeable and competent workforce
• Ensure that goals, scope and product domains are understood by each scrum team, and stored in a clear and concise product backlog that is well understood and ready for development/test
• Ensure workforce cooperation and engagement within and across the organization
• Lead the introduction and adoption of technologies and solutions that enable new business capabilities and cost-effectiveness
• Participate and contribute positively to create a diverse and inclusive culture with collaboration, and accountability through empowerment and respect. Play an active role in supporting IT behaviours
• Participate and contribute positively to create a diverse and inclusive culture with trust and respect. Play an active role in supporting cross-team/division/department efforts and modeling collaborative behaviours

Requirements:

• University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Business or equivalent with a minimum of 4-6 years relevant experience
• Strong business acumen, analytical and decision-making skills, proven enterprise-grade application development management experience with large-scale organisations
• Experience in requirement analysis either previously as a business analyst, systems analyst or similar
• Good understanding of Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is preferred Proven staff management/supervision capability preferably with multi-site experience
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical and strong capability in problem determination and problem-solving
• Ability to develop effective business relationships and build consensus
