Trade Finance Officer

The Trade Finance Officer will work together with our CFO to help optimize finanical transations within the company. The individual will handle complex banking transactions and structure it in a manner that mitigates risk and cost from the company.

Job Responsibilities & Candidate Qualifications:

• Familiar with complex international deals with mutliple currencies
• Generate Letters of credit, guarnatees and other financial documentation
• Prepare financial proposals for both internal and external uses
• Has the know how to open and close accounts in various different countires
• General knowledge of international banks
• Maintains and develops relations with banks in UAE and in Africa
• Has conducted financial deals and operations in the African Market
• Willingness to travel based on company needs
• Ability to review and coordinate with legal for contacts and other documentation
• Can manage operational risks and advise management accordingly.
• Bachelor’s Degree and Graduate degree in one of the following: Accounting, Economics, or Finance
• Has experience in trade finance – commodities industry.
• Holds a minimum of 10 years of mid to senior level experience in the finance industry.
