Senior Art Director

Role:

Looking for a Senior Art Director to support the creative team and part supervise. You will be responsible for creative direction and campaigns, as well as supervise teams and staff on multiple design projects. The Senior Art Director is a leader, a creative mind and a project manager all in one.

Responsibilities:

Although specific projects will dictate the Senior Art Director’s undertakings, there are several core responsibilities common to this position. The following are the main tasks and responsibilities.
Design Concepts
Senior Art Director s will work independently to develop design concepts and directions for marketing materials, campaigns and multiple projects. This will require them to make conceptual and stylistic decisions. Creating layouts, mockups and prototypes may be required to illustrate their design idea to other members of the team or management.
Manage Projects
The Senior Art Director will oversee multiple design projects at one time. This will include creating teams, creating timelines, overseeing design direction, ensuring all deadlines are met, confirming clients are satisfied with the results and troubleshooting any issues that may arise during the duration of the project. They also act as quality control for their projects by reviewing and editing their team’s final products before distribution of any materials occur.

Skills:

The Senior Art Director should be a creative individual with fantastic interpersonal skills. They must be reliable employees and enjoy challenging and fast-paced work. Being extremely motivated and having strong leadership skills is also important.

· Knowledgeable of design practices such as, brand development, user experience design and digital design
· Highly proficient computer skills, especially with Adobe Creative Suite applications
· Knowledge of social media platforms and trends
· Knowledge of marketing practices
· Graphic design experience
