Senior Art Director

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Art Director with a strong background in events and activations to join our client’s team in Dubai. This role requires someone with a proven track record in conceptualizing and delivering impactful, visually compelling designs for large-scale events, brand activations, and experiential marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, an innovative mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to bring brands to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the creative direction and design execution for major events, activations, and experiential marketing campaigns.
• Conceptualize, develop, and execute visually engaging ideas that align with the client’s brand and campaign objectives.
• Work closely with clients, creative teams, event managers, and production teams to ensure cohesive and seamless integration of design and experience.
• Oversee the entire creative process from concept development through to final execution, ensuring high-quality, on-brand delivery.
• Provide creative leadership and mentorship to junior designers and other members of the creative team.
• Collaborate with copywriters, strategists, and other stakeholders to ensure that the creative vision aligns with broader marketing strategies.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and design innovations to ensure cutting-edge creative solutions.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high design standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Advertising, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in art direction, with a significant focus on events, brand activations, and experiential marketing.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of large-scale event design, brand activations, and creative campaigns.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), 3D design software (e.g., SketchUp, Cinema 4D) is a plus.
• Excellent understanding of branding, storytelling, and how design can enhance audience engagement.
• Ability to think conceptually and translate ideas into visually striking and impactful designs.
• Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas to clients and internal teams.
• Experience managing teams and working under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Preferred Experience:

• Knowledge of the MENA market and previous experience working in Dubai or the region.
• Experience working with high-profile brands and delivering designs for high-impact events such as product launches, conferences, or large-scale public activations.
