Head of Product Design

I’m looking for an exceptional Head of Product Design to build bleeding-edge, next-generation experiences.

Role:

• You will lead and own Product Design for the region’s leading multi-billion dollar omni-channel retail organization.
• You will be a key stakeholder in influencing the Product Roadmap for the Group’s E-commerce and Omni-Channel vision and ambition.
• You will lead, inspire, manage and grow our Product Design team as the Group’s Centre of Excellence on user experience, user-interface and interaction design.
• You will ensure that the Product Design team continues to make data and research-driven design decisions.
• You will be responsible for delivering all necessary app and site designs in line with the timelines jointly set by the Product Design, Product Management and Technology teams.

Qualifications:

• You have at least 8 years of outstanding Product Design experience across the iOS, Android, mobile, desktop and kiosk platforms from some of the world’s most design-centric companies.
• You can quantifiable demonstrate the results that your designs and design decisions have made for previous organizations.
• You have an extremely agile mindset with a track record of rapidly mocking up and iterating prototypes and testing them to determine which designs works best.
• You have hands-on experience with Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines, Android’s Material Design and best practices for mobile and desktop design.
• You’re adept on the latest design, workflow and collaboration tools and technologies used by modern Product Design teams like Sketch, InVision, Zeplin and Jira.
• You are incredibly knowledgeable on industry best practices in the fields of UX, UI and IxD.
• You are inspired by and follow the world’s greatest design-centric companies and product design practitioners.
• You are an exceptional communicator who can comfortably connect, collaborate with and influence a wide range of key stakeholders across the organization.
