Role overview
· Have full P&L responsibility for your category
· Responsible for end to end Selection growth & brand growth for the category
· Develop and implement a consumer centric category plan across both marketplace and retail stocked in to deliver sales, margin and stock budgets
· Ensure best in class customer experience through strong site merchandising, world class PDP’s, inspiring content and excellent knowledge of consumer journeys for your category
Responsibilities
· Developing and managing strategic relationship with key suppliers / brands /partners in marketplace business
· Leading a team of Account Managers and ensure that they are guided to achieve their KPI’s
· Working with cross functional teams to plan growth of category supply, improving supply depth and preventing supplier risk
· Help & train sellers to develop on the platform by adding more Selection, expanding categories, improving sales
· Understand and resolve seller issues by working with internal and external teams.
· Deliver promotional activities to drive sales whilst supporting effective stock management
Minimum Qualifications, Experience & Skills
· Excellent numerical and analytical skills to be capable of monitoring market changes, competitor prices and products, and past sales patterns to forecast demand
· Highly developed negotiation and influencing skills to enable successful negotiations with suppliers
