This role is pivotal in driving multi-million dollar revenue, optimising key accounts, and closing high-impact deals – from SMEs to senior leaders at blue-chip companies across the transport value chain.
Responsibilities:
- Own and exceed personal and show revenue/profit targets
- Drive new business by identifying, contacting, and converting leads into long-term clients
- Develop compelling sales strategies and proposals that maximise stand and sponsorship revenues
- Build trusted relationships with C-level stakeholders and understand their commercial goals
- Report on performance metrics, pipeline health, and market trends to senior leadership
- Collaborate with marketing, content, and operations teams to ensure alignment and delivery
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activity to sharpen commercial strategies
- **No direct reports, but you’ll be a key commercial voice in the business**
- Responsible for meeting sponsorship and exhibition revenue targets
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of B2B exhibition and sponsorship sales experience
- Proven track record of smashing commercial targets in a competitive environment
- Skilled in the full sales cycle: lead gen, prospecting, pitching, closing, and upselling
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
