Purpose of the role
Preprocessing and statistical modelling of data for forecasting and prediction. Implementation of models on a production environment, including monitoring of performance and model drift. Advise on, and help mentor the team in, best practices for feature engineering and model selection.
Required:
Demonstrated ability modelling and implementing machine learning in Python.
Tools – Jupyter, Git, cloud tools for operationalizing ML.
Good to have:
Knowledge of common shipping terms and workflows
Java/C#, JavaScript, REST APIs
Familiarity with basic MLOps in any cloud environment.
