Junior Data Scientist – Saudi National

My client are leaders in the oil and gas industry.

Role: Junior Data Scientist (Saudi National)

*** Minimum 12 month fixed rolling contract ***

My client have an opening for a Saudi National Junior Data Scientist to help in managing and supporting various AI solutions development.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Good team player
• Take a role in daily stand-up, iteration planning, sprint review, and iteration retrospective
• Maintain projects data in JIRA project management software to support plan and execution
• Able to work under pressure
• Develop Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning models in domains such as Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Reinforcement Learning and/or Timeseries
• Expected a high-quality work including code writing and documentation
• Expected to analyze whether a use case could be solved by Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning methods or not
• Able to ask for and provide help in case needed
• Meet deadlines and expect to deliver work within a limited time frame
• Actively cooperate with scrum team
• Aspire to learn new tools and technologies

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of solid experience in a similar role
• Saudi National
• Solid experience in Python
• A record of developed Machine Learning models, preferably have a portfolio on GitHub
• Familiar with GitLab
• Familiar with the agile methodology and relevant frameworks like SCRUM & KANBAN
