Senior IT Asset Manager

I am looking for a Senior IT Asset Manager to take the reins of my clients’ IT asset portfolio, managing everything from procurement to retirement. You’ll play a key leadership role in ensuring the strategic use, tracking, and lifecycle optimization of our hardware, software, end-user equipment, and network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute IT asset management strategies across hardware, software, and infrastructure.
• Maintain accurate records and inventory of all IT assets and ensure lifecycle tracking.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with licensing, regulatory, and internal standards.
• Collaborate with IT, procurement, and other stakeholders to align asset planning with organizational goals.
• Lead the development of asset management policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Provide actionable reports and insights to senior leadership.
• Oversee procurement, vendor engagement, and cost forecasting for IT assets.
• Train internal teams on asset management systems, tools, and processes.
• Ensure secure and compliant disposal of outdated or decommissioned equipment.

What You Bring:

• 6-8 years of IT asset management experience (with at least 2 years in a leadership role).
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of ITAM principles, software licensing, and audit procedures.
• Proficiency in asset management tools and systems.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for cross-functional collaboration.
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, security practices, and network environments.
