The Senior IT Business Partner will act as the primary bridge between the Regulatory & Licensing function and the IT organisation. This role is responsible for understanding business requirements, processes, and ongoing change requests, translating them into effective IT solutions. The individual will drive system enhancements and modifications while ensuring IT services remain aligned with business objectives and regulatory obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the single point of contact between the Regulatory & Licensing teams and IT for all system-related initiatives, including enhancements, modifications, and support.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of business processes, regulatory frameworks, and licensing workflows.
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements, ensuring they are translated into effective IT solutions.
- Collaborate with IT project teams to ensure timely delivery of system enhancements and technology changes.
- Support change management activities including UAT coordination, training, and communication on new features.
- Maintain continuous stakeholder engagement and feedback loops to align systems with evolving needs.
- Monitor system performance, work with IT operations to resolve issues, and recommend efficiency improvements.
- Contribute to IT roadmaps and strategy, ensuring alignment with compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Provide regular updates, dashboards, and reports to senior management.
- Act as a trusted technology advisor, guiding the business on the optimal use of IT solutions.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 8-10 years’ experience in IT Business Analysis, IT Business Partnering, or IT Project Management roles.
- Demonstrated success in business-IT partnership within regulated industries (e.g., government, logistics, postal, or financial services).
- Strong understanding of regulatory processes, licensing systems, and compliance-driven environments.
- Experience managing system change requests, enhancements, and IT service delivery.
Skills & Competencies:
- Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
- Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional documentation skills.
- Proven ability to translate business needs into clear IT requirements.
- Familiarity with ITIL, Agile, or similar delivery methodologies.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for both business and technical audiences.
- High adaptability and comfort in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
