Manual Test Engineer – ARABIC SPEAKING

I have partnered with a huge technology company in the heart of Dubai that is looking to add a Manual Test Engineer to their team on a rolling contract.

As the Manual Tester with Automation Experience, you will play a crucial role in maintaining their high standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough manual testing of software applications to identify defects, bugs, and usability issues.
• Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure requirements are understood and test objectives are met.
• Perform regression testing to ensure software changes and updates do not negatively impact existing functionality.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry standard tools and frameworks.
• Continuously enhance and optimize the automation testing process to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Document test results, and defects, and provide detailed reports to the development team.
• Work closely with developers and stakeholders to analyse and troubleshoot issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Manual Tester, preferably in a software development environment
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, best practices, and QA processes
• Proficient in creating test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
• Hands-on experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks
• Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#) for scripting automated tests.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Jira)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• ISTQB certification or similar is a plus.
