Our client is seeking a skilled and proactive Scrum Master to support digital product teams focused on web and mobile delivery. This position plays a vital role in enabling agile practices, removing blockers, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
As a Scrum Master, you will work closely with cross-functional product and engineering teams to facilitate agile ceremonies, drive sprint effectiveness, and ensure alignment across stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement
- Monitor team performance using agile metrics such as velocity and burn-down charts
- Support the Product Owner with backlog grooming and prioritisation
- Serve as a servant-leader, helping the team deliver valuable outcomes while encouraging accountability and autonomy
- Identify and remove obstacles to delivery, escalating issues when necessary
- Promote strong communication and alignment across squads and wider teams (e.g., Architecture, DevOps, QA)
- Advocate for Agile, Lean, and SAFe principles, tailoring coaching to suit team maturity
- Ensure best-practice use of agile delivery tools and documentation standards
- Maintain visibility of delivery progress through consistent reporting and dashboards
Qualifications & Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a digital or software delivery environment
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline
- Professional certification in Scrum (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster – CSM or SAFe Scrum Master – SSM)
- Experience in digital product delivery, agile transformation, and user story creation and estimation
- Strong working knowledge of Agile and SAFe methodologies, with a practical understanding of team dynamics and agile tooling
- Competency with platforms such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Rally
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in facilitating and engaging diverse teams
