Test Automation Engineer

We are currently partnered with a long-serving global enterprise solutions provider with thousands of customers across the globe to hire a Test Automation Engineer as part of their project expansion.

Job Summary:

Role: Designing and building scalable, fault-tolerant systems with high performance.

Focus: Cloud maturity and mobility, contributing to agile teams, enhancing product quality, and maintaining Engineering environment.

Skills Needed: Comfortable with various platforms, technologies, and languages including Windows, Linux, PowerShell, bash, database administration, virtualization, and public cloud environments.

Responsibilities:

Design and Automation: Oversee and contribute to test automation efforts, guide less experienced engineers, participate in Agile ceremonies, design and build automation tests, review code, and set up test environments.

Planning and Support: Participate in release/iteration planning, prepare automation test plans, support automating traceability of stories and test cases.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Experience: 3-7 years in software development and automation testing, 2+ years with Agile methodologies.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL based RDBMS, test automation for SOAP & REST Web Services, multiple programming languages (C#, Java, Node.JS/JavaScript, Delphi), BDD, and various test automation tools such as Selenium.

This role requires a mix of technical proficiency, adaptability to new technologies, and strong collaboration skills within an Agile environment.
