The Compensation & Benefits Manager is an integral part of the HR team and reports directly to the Head of C&B. This role primarily focuses on managing a portfolio of C&B projects and policies within our organization, encompassing employees in all countries.
Purpose of the Job
The primary purpose of this role is to develop and oversee the implementation of compensation and benefits programs aimed at providing a competitive level of pay, motivation, and rewards to our employees. It also entails offering proactive advice and support to management and employees concerning Compensation & Benefits procedures, systems, conditions, and instruments.
Areas of Responsibility
Responsible for delivering compensation & benefits programs that attract and retain employees, aligning with Action’s strategic direction.
Analyzes, establishes, implements, and executes policies related to (inter)national employment conditions, and when necessary, proposes improvements.
Manages the rollout, communication, and ongoing administration of both new and existing compensation & benefits programs and policies.
Provides recommendations on various reward-related topics using survey sources, market references, internal equity, and other relevant data. Converts these inputs into proposals for the C&B committee’s decision-making process when required.
Acts as the point of contact for day-to-day C&B queries from HR managers/BP’s and management. Collaborates closely with legal, payroll, finance/tax departments when necessary.
Recognized for expertise and analytical skills in one or more compensation and benefits disciplines; contributes to the development of new concepts and standards.

Requirements – Hard Skills
Academic degree
A minimum of 8-10 years of international C&B working experience
Excellent proficiency in the Dutch and English languages (spoken and written), with a preference for knowledge of the French and German languages
