The Manager Talent Acquisition is responsible for leading, developing, and overseeing all international Talent Acquisition activities. This role works closely with the Marketing team to ensure effective Employer Branding activities. The Manager Talent Acquisition leads the Talent Acquisition team, which includes 6 Talent Acquisition Specialists, 1 Talent Acquisition Coordinator, and 1 Recruitment Operations role, and reports to the Head of Talent. The primary focus is on building and strengthening the Talent Acquisition organization to attract and hire the right talent to support the growth of the company.
Purpose of the Job
The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the development, implementation, and execution of strategies, policies, and activities related to international Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding.
Areas of Responsibility
1. Strategy/Policy and Processes
Translate the Business and HR strategies, policies, and processes into Talent Acquisition initiatives.
Ensure that current and expanding countries where Action operates are equipped for Talent Acquisition.
Implement a Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding strategy within the organization, continuously improve processes, and ensure smooth recruitment operations globally.
Develop, implement, and oversee the international Talent Acquisition strategy.
Professionalize the Talent Acquisition cycle and facilitate natural growth within the head office organization.
Implement IT systems supporting all offices and lines of business.
2. People Management
Establish a robust, mature Talent Acquisition organization, transitioning from reactive tactical/operational recruitment to proactive integrated Talent Acquisition.
Provide direct and constructive feedback on performance and personal development related to future requirements and priorities.
Encourage employees to contribute to idea generation and actively learn from their experiences and those of others.
Foster a work environment that continually motivates employees to develop and improve their performance.
Mentor and coach employees to enhance their skills and competences.
Ensure optimal staffing, recruitment activities, and employee retention within the department.
3. Operational Management
Offer proactive advice and support to higher management and the board and provide relevant management reports.
Initiate, plan, and coordinate projects related to Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding activities to enhance the Employer Brand and Talent Acquisition organization.
Oversee all relevant IT applications for international Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding.
Stay updated on developments in the field of expertise and actively share knowledge across the international organization.
Collaborate with the Countries to keep processes and projects up to date and work on improvements.
4. Internal Stakeholder Management and External Relations
Identify the needs and expectations of internal stakeholders and engage with them through various tasks.
Organize, monitor, and enhance relationships with internal stakeholders.
Initiate, maintain, and expand contacts with relevant external parties.
Collaborate with procurement on new contracts and provide advice on specialized partners.

Requirements – Hard Skills
Academic level of thinking and working, based on an academic degree with approximately 10 years of relevant working experience or a bachelor’s degree with 15 years of relevant working experience (preferably within retail).
Experience in leading and managing (international) Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding teams.
Excellent proficiency in Dutch and English languages (spoken and written).
Extensive knowledge of sourcing, pre-selection, and assessment tools, interview techniques, employer branding, and job marketing strategies/campaigns.
Proficiency in Project Management.
Experience with SuccessFactors is preferred.
