An exciting global leader is looking for the best Digital Trade Manager. Based out of Amsterdam, the role encapsulates Ecommerce Strategy, Assortment & Trading, Content & Communications, Customer Journey, and day-to-day trade activities.

As a member of the Ecommerce trade team. Your responsibility is to manage a team of 3 to 4 direct reports. Working with the broad digital trade team of; CRM, Digital Marketing, Digital Operations, CRO and Content.

The role will encapsulate the broad EU market of the brand.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Trade planning & Execution. Deliver on commercial objectives. Add value-based insights.
  • Analysis of promotional performance.
  • Help build engaging content and commercialised communication plan.
  • Aid localized trade calendars. Build and analyse these with the regional coordinators. Consider seasonal variations, events, and holidays.
  • Regularly align with Global Trading Managers and performance and help optimise these trade plans.
  • Report on online channel performance. Keep each trade manager aligned on performance and trade activity.
  • Perform ongoing analysis on key Ecommerce KPI’s. Both Web based and Revenue based.
  • Collaborate and build trade performance with CRO & UX teams. Innovate on A/B testing methods.
  • Team lead and coordinate 3+ ecommerce coordinators for content across all EU-based websites.
  • Support on these daily activities while fostering their own ecommerce development.
  • Produce Day-to-day/Weekly reports on Global performance.
  • Generate ideas surrounding company website, performance, and customer experience.

Role Requirements:

  • 4 + years’ experience in E-commerce. Premium brand preferable.
  • HBO/WBO in Business Administration or related field.
  • Fluent level of English.
  • Trading background in promotion planning, trade calendar ownership & activities execution.
  • Strong Planning and organisational skills, ability to multi-task day-to-day activity.
  • Strong commercial mindset & good with analysis & reporting.
  • Fashion background preferable but not mandatory
  • Line management experience required. 3 to 4 reports exist in this position.
  • Multi-region experience desirable.
  • Expert in Analytical tools (GA, Abode and or Tableau preferable).
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel.
  • Based in the Randstad area and happy to travel into Amsterdam.
