About the Role:

Our client, a leading enterprise-focused distributor, is seeking an experienced Commercial Sales Manager to lead a specialist sales team in proactively identifying new customers and expanding existing business within The Netherlands.

You’ll be responsible for positioning the value of the company’s solutions offerings, working closely with solutions architects and supplier stakeholders to drive new business opportunities. This role offers the chance to stay at the forefront of technology, engage with senior stakeholders across diverse markets, and partner with world-leading brands.

The solutions division represents some of the most disruptive and industry-leading enterprise technology vendors, focusing on delivering cutting-edge solutions across Europe through a fully accredited integration centre and market expertise.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Leading, coaching, and mentoring a team of 3+ account managers in The Netherlands.
• Taking the commercial lead in developing relationships and opportunities alongside solutions architects and technology suppliers.
• Working with account managers to identify and onboard new accounts across multiple market verticals.
• Developing existing focus accounts to contribute to overall business growth.
• Building and executing business plans within vertical markets to align with the company’s enterprise strategy.
• Leading meetings and presentations to drive solution selling.
• Maintaining an accurate pipeline and forecasts to support business growth.
• Setting and measuring key objectives for the sales team.
• Providing product and market training to local sales teams, becoming a trusted advisor.
• Applying strong commercial awareness and a value-add approach to maximize profitability in complex, multi-vendor solution proposals.
• Developing strong local relationships with key vendors and stakeholders.

• Encouraging internal relationships with teams such as Marketing, Customer Service, and Credit Control to enhance collaboration.
• Demonstrating strong awareness and commitment to Ethics, Compliance, and Company Code of Conduct.

The ideal candidate will have a commercial and sales-driven mindset, with the ability to support sales teams and reseller/partner networks in discovering new opportunities and growing business. You should be comfortable seeking out new opportunities personally, both within existing and new customers.
