The front-end ecosystem is developing at an insane pace and technologies have followed each other in rapid succession in recent years. We are looking for an ambitious Front-end Javascript developer who is aware of the ins and outs.
Job description
You are fluent in HTML and CSS, not only in the languages themselves, but you also know how to use these technologies most effectively to build cool – and semantically correct – interfaces. Sometimes you do this within a full-stack context, and other times you work on a SPA that connects to one of our own JSON APIs.
You are aware of the developments in the Javascript landscape. Due to the fact that the range of new tools is overwhelming, you like to research which tools are or are not suitable for us.
Skills
* HTML / Sass (SCSS)
* JavaScript (ES2015+)
* Good knowledge of front-end development tools such as Babel and Webpack
* High affinity with web standards and specifications
* Knowledge of modern programming principles such as reactive programming, functional programming, SOLID and OOP
Bonus points
* PHP / MySQL
* Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as Vue, Angular, EmberJS, React and/or Ionic
* Knowledge of Typescript is a big plus!
* You know your way around NodeJS and the standard libraries
* You are aware of the latest ECMAScript specifications
