Accountants – Contracting opportunities

Two contracting opportunities, starting immediately in East Tamaki and Highbrook for 2-3 months. Get yourself working before Christmas!

OPPORTUNITY 1 – EAST TAMAKI

This successful privately-owned business provides sales and service to the Shipping, Oil and Gas and Fishing industries. We need a Project Accountant to review this SME (Turnover $3M) accounting processes and systems. This will require a hands-on person who is comfortable getting into the trenches. All aspects will need to be reviewed and managed from AP, AR, GL, tax and Payroll. There will also be the opportunity to work with the GM on budgets, forecasts and reporting.

OPPORTUNITY 2 – HIGHBROOK

A corporate high-profile business needs a Financial Accountant to help them through their busy year end, audit and budget period. This role will probably go through to the end of Feb/early March. There is a shutdown from 22nd December to 6th January. You will look after month end, balance sheet recons, bank recons, audit, yearend, reporting, financial analysis. Strong excel is required and flexibility.

WHAT YOU NEED?
You will be an experienced Company Accountant who is self-motivated and flexible. You will have excellent attention to detail, intermediate Excel and have good working knowledge of ERP systems.
