Accounts Assistant/ Payroll – Part time

Our client provides support services to children and young people in need of out of home care. About the role:

We are seeking an experienced senior accounts person who is either looking for part time work or a return-to-work mum who wants to get back into working life. You will be confident in providing high-quality accounting services to support this close knit, yet down to earth team.

Reporting to the Business Services Manager this role is busy and varied and has an interesting twist as you will be providing a wide range of accounting tasks related to a children’s home care facility. This will include

· Payment of children’s pocket money!

· Accounts payable/receivable

· Bank reconciliations and management of credit cards

· Payroll of staff and caregivers of varying hours and shifts

· Other ad hoc financial tasks

What you need to bring:

· Previous accounting experience and knowledge up to trial balance

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy

· Critical thinker

· Excellent communication skills with ability to build relationships with children, young people, and professionals

· Systems Savvy
