Senior Cyber Security Analyst

Responsibilities:

 Perform security monitoring and detection to determine relevancy, and priority and conduct proactive and effective incident management.
 Investigate, respond to (including as a point of escalation), and report on security incidents.
 Analyse technical security risks/vulnerabilities continuously recommending solutions to remediate.
 Evaluate and make recommendations on new security products.
 Monitor emerging threats.
 Support the implementation, delivery, and maintenance of security technologies.
 Liaise with other stakeholders in the identification of controls and preparation of reports to management on security incidents.
 Contribute with management to the development, deployment, and management of security policies, procedures, standards, and strategies based on recognised security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, and ISO27001.
 Providing input to the Security Strategic Roadmap.
 Create and maintain internal and customer Knowledge Base articles.
 Perform security awareness training programs.
 Act as a security assurance analyst on internal and external projects.
 Provide technical guidance, training/mentoring within NOC.
 Provide on-call support if required.
 Be the Craft Lead for SOC

Experience & Knowledge:

 5+ Years of Information Security Operations
 Knowledge of security monitoring, security operations processes and common industry technologies
 Perimeter Security Controls
 IPS, IDS
 DDOS and WAF protection
 DNS and Content Filtering
 Endpoint Protection
 Endpoint Detection and Response
 Security Information Event Manager
 Vulnerability Testing
 Microsoft Operating Systems
 Network Fundamentals (TCP/IP, DHCP, WANs, LANs)
 Internet Protocols (SMTP, HTTPS, FTP, POP, LDAP)
