Based in accessible Penrose our client, a drainage specialising company with over 150 years combined experience providing services including laser profiling, hydro excavation, pipe cleaning and CCTV pipeline inspections. They are seeking a Health and Safety coordinator to join their HR team. This is a varied position supporting the line managers and the General Manager of People, Culture and Safety.
About the role
You will be bringing your H&S smarts and experience
Conduct H&S audits
Provide internal health and safety training for staff and contractors
Provide support in risk management to operation teams
Conducting and supporting incident investigations
Promote worker participation in H&S
Build and maintain effective working relationships
Provide strategic input into improving systems, processes, and behavioural safety
About you
You are someone who loves the health and safety environment and want to be part of a team with an abundance of experience to develop your career in a company that values people and has created a culture of support and is growing rapidly. Your strong communication and collaborative skills allow you to form transparent and trusting relationships across the business. You are good on the computer and can learn new systems easily and enjoy creating learning material.
