Wellington Permanent NZ$70000.00 - NZ$85000.00 per annum + plus commission

Our client is a globally recognised and award-winning entertainment solution company, specialising in providing commercial grade experience driven attractions for the leisure and entertainment industry.

We are looking for an intermediate level salesperson to continue to build the business in the APAC region. The key to success in this role is the ability to build long term relationships as the sales cycle can be very long, potentially two years for some bigger projects. There are also quicker sales opportunities with at least three to four sales realistically per month.

APAC is a huge market, and you will arrive to warm leads and introductions. There will be two to three warm lead enquiries per day, and the odd hot lead! There are between 10-16 email leads to follow up on every day. You will also scope fresh customers and attend regional trade shows to continue to build leads and a future pipeline. Your clients will come from a myriad of business types from commercial landlords to Mall owners, to sports clubs. You can also help enhance other entertainment destinations.

The successful candidate we are looking for will be a proven self-starter with drive, energy, and smarts. You will also be:

· Able to relate to all people very well, you will be able to prove your wins from relationship building.

· Astute and be commercially focused.

· Comfortable with technology.

· Passionate for experience driven entertainment.

Based in Wellington or Melbourne, you will be available to travel internationally and attend international trade shows in Sydney, Gold Coast and Asia each year. You’ll report into the Global Sales Leader who is based in Wellington. There’s an office you can work from, or you can park up wherever you are most efficient.
