The Business
With over 48 years of specialist trading experience this successful team are highly regarded industry experts in the importing of food products, distribution, and worldwide commodity exports. This business is based at Airport Oaks and continues to grow from strength to strength and now is the time for an Inventory Coordinator to bring their expertise to the business and take responsibility for the management of their inventory and related tasks
The Opportunity
Reporting to the GM of Finance and Operations your key responsibilities will include
· Receipting of stock domestic and imported stock on a daily basis
· Weekly reconciliation of overall stock position for all sites and investigation of discrepancies for up to 3-5 cool stores
· Coordinating and entering of stock transfers between cool stores and adjustments as required
· Monitor capacity at each cool store and take required proactive action
· Coordinate MPI inspections
· Maintain stock rotation and old stock reporting
· Calculating of logistics/cool store costs to be recharged
About you
Although not essential the ideal candidate will have worked in the food/FMCG industry. However, what is important is:
· At least 2-3 years working with inventory control however would consider graduates or other business experience for the right person
· Good excel experience (e.g., Pivot tables)
· Ability to communicate effectively across a wide range of stakeholders
· Analytical thinker with strong attention to detail, accuracy is vital
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Can work independently but also be able to work in team environment
· Happy to help and roll up sleeves
