Planning Specialist

Are you a seasoned operator who has the ability to keep things running smoothly? Our client is looking for a Planning Manager in the Food Manufacturing industry to join their fast paced team that are constantly striving to deliver the best results for their stakeholders. This is a brilliant opportunity to become part of a well known global brand in this short term role to start ASAP in East Tamaki.

THE PLANNING MANAGER’S CORE DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Bring together and create a production plan – matching sales with the supply chain team that are forecasting for the weeks ahead and then finding out what they need to produce in the factory.
• Manage stakeholders and engage with the supply chain team and factory onsite.
• Respond promptly when the plan is unable to be executed then replanning with speed, efficiency and with communication.
• Creating reports and looking at trends – being able to understand line performers and how they are performing.

WHO AM I?

• Have 5 years experience in production planning.
• Preferably worked in the food manufacturing industry.
• It’s essential to have used SAP and be confident using this system.
• Have proof of showing initiative – picking things up quickly and running with it. This role is to keep things ticking along BAU.
• Engage with team members, enjoy being collaborative!
• Intermediate on Excel – create pivot tables & v-look ups
