Application Support Analyst – Salesforce & SAP

THE ROLE

Our client is embarking on a major transformation of IT systems and implementing SAP, while having an existing instance of Salesforce. We are looking for someone experienced in application support & Salesforce administration to provide level one and two support to a cross-geographical team.

· The main responsibility will be to provide first and second level application support (including Salesforce and SAP) to all internal users.

· Manage the day-to-day administrative functions including user account setup and maintenance, basic configuration, daily data updates & building /running reports.

· Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the system including errors with integration, system errors & data integrity.

· Escalate complex issues to the offshore team and ensure issues are resolved promptly

· Coordinate planned outages and manage unplanned outages, build working templates for data migration & forms for 3rd party applications

· Check & verify data for accuracy

· Work closely with business users to understand pain points, document business requirements for system enhancements, communicate requirements to the offshore team, and collaborate with development teams to develop, implement, and test such enhancements.

· Support regional IT projects, process improvements, user training and documentation

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

· Relevant experience in application support, ideally in a large geographically dispersed organisation.

· 2+ years Salesforce administration or consulting experience and, ideally, Salesforce Administrator certification.

· Significant analytical and problem-solving experience within technology, ideally SAP and Salesforce.

· Familiarity with SAP ECC 6.0 modules (ideally FI/CO, Project Systems) is ideal.

· Experience with large scale projects and managing multiple stakeholder relationships.

· Strong interpersonal & communication skills, approachable, engaging, and friendly.

· Demonstrated commitment to delivery of satisfactory outcomes for users.

· Self-motivated, positive, and enthusiastic approach to problem solving
