Business Analyst – BI

Our client is currently undergoing a transformation of processes and has recently released an RFP to vendors. The goal of this project is to streamline and improve operational processes utilising technology.

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Business Analyst (BI BA) contractor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both business analysis and business intelligence, with a 50/50 split of skills in each area. The role will include process mapping, gap analysis, requirement gathering, and strong documentation and stakeholder engagement skills.

It will also encompass data management skills, as well as using PowerBI to create reporting to be used by the business. A maturity of process and documentation is also required.

What are we after?

· Gather and analyse business requirements from stakeholders

· Develop and document functional and technical specifications

· Identify and recommend process improvements

· Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements and align on solutions

· Use Power BI to create reports and ideally create visualisations to interpret data

· Use SQL, SSRS, Visio, and Excel to support data management and analysis

Essential Experience/Skills:

· Strong documentation process skills

· Experience with Power BI, Visio, SQL, and Excel

· Solid business analysis skillset

This role is flexible, with 2 days of remote work per week
