Cyber Security Analyst

The role:

The foundational duty of this role is to provide Security support across a large network. To do this you will:

• Identify, manage and escalate (if needed) threats and policy breaches in their environment.
• Implement and provide input on the designing of any required security measures, DR and contingency plans.
• You’ll be responsible for responding to security incidents across their client base.
• Write security policies and establish compliance.
• Identify instances of non-compliance of policies and procedures and report and escalate as appropriate.
• Keep up with the latest industry knowledge and trends on information security.

About you:

• Strong experience as a Security Analyst or similar type of role.
• You will have a high level of technical security skills and experience with troubleshooting and resolving issues within tight timeframes.
• Thorough knowledge of Firewalls, Anti Virus, IDS, DLP, proxies and other security related technologies is a must!
• Engaging with all levels of the business and customers, you will be able to adapt your communication style and delivery method to suit users’ abilities, providing clear and succinct solutions and training where necessary.
• Have the ability to communicate the importance of security to users and best practices.
• Knowledge of current security and threat landscape, response and the relevant mitigation needed.
