Our client a Global company with over 100 years of history is seeking an experienced Business Applications Manager – D365| MS CRM, ERP

Are you looking for a leadership role to really change organisational value through technology – D365 – Microsoft. Large global conglomerate is seeking an Applications Manager to take them to the next level.

The Company:

When you think of companies that have been around for over 100 years it’s easy to dismiss them as being antiquated and out of touch but this Global Giant is anything but. With operations in 18 countries and 1200 people in New Zealand this organisation has relationships with some of the most recognised brands in the World. That length of time also tells you that they know a thing or two about weathering storms and whilst they have an international presence in most major countries – their New Zealand operation is distinctly Kiwi.

The Role:

· Sitting in the Senior Leadership Team, The Group Applications Manager is responsible for both core and ancillary applications that not only support the business but also enable customer-centricity. Largely a Microsoft shop with a sprinkling of proprietary, industry specific applications this role will have a core focus on the nurturing and growth of D365. With 2 large instances of D365 integrating into a diverse suite of applications this Management role will essentially be the custodian of business critical systems.

· This is also a leadership role, responsible for technical subject matter experts across the country as well as business systems analysts in several locations dotted around NZ. You will also be responsible for the adoption uptake of D365 (Microsoft Dynamics 365) across the business looking to leverage it’s full potential.

· There are several large upgrades of D365 planned for the calendar year so you spearhead that directly with Microsoft.

Your Experience:

· Ideally you will have extensive experience with the MS Dynamics suite of applications – D365 is preferred but not absolutely essential.

· If you don’t have D365 then CRM and/or ERP implementation experience would be great.

· This is not a technical roll up your sleeves role, you have people to do the heavy lifting for you.

· You will be heavily involved in Stakeholder management from the Executive Team to administrators and client facing staff at the ground level.

· For any leadership role – excellent ability to explain a technical concept to an audience with little to no digital literacy is a must but you will also be a sound influencer.

· You’ve likely done this in the past – rallied a group of people spread across multiple business units to leverage their domain expertise and uplift capability through technology, knowing that technology is just the enabler to achieve business needs and deliver real value.
