Network Engineer

We have an exciting initial 2 year Fixed Term, fully remote/hybrid opportunity for a Network Engineer. We are looking for someone who could be interested in stepping into a new networking environment, one of the largest of a kind! You will be playing a part in providing services designing, delivering and provisioning technical solutions and knowledge sharing within the products and services team and its partners.

Our client has a large upgrade programme that is currently underway and expected to last at least 2 years.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Design, build and implement technical solutions for delivery and enhance the experience of products and services
• Training, documentation and knowledge sharing both internally and externally
• Build and maintain a knowledge base of technical information
• Develop relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors
• Create Statements of Work and diagrams to assist with the provisioning process.
• Act as a tier 3 escalation point for any provisioning or BAU issues

Technically you will have:

– CCNA as well as either CCNP, CWNA or NSE 4 Qualifications (or similar).

– Strong experience in network design, build and implementation in a wired and wireless environment

– Experience working with multiple vendors and internal stakeholders

– Excellent communication skills including the ability to translate technical issues in a concise, non-technical manner

– Knowledge of technical support issues related to network connectivity, firewalls and end user devices troubleshooting experience
