Product owner experienced with mobile apps required to join a major NZ business to work on cutting-edge projects including development of a new mobile e-commerce app.

A major supplier to the trades, our client is building agile ways of working and bringing together strategy, technology, and digital marketing to create competitive advantage through innovation in products that transform the customer experience.

This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the development of a mobile e-commerce app based on the SAP/Hybris platform, including integration to back-end systems (ERP, Salesforce).

The Product owner will play a significant role in helping transform digital presence in the omnichannel space. You will be collaborating with internal teams to understand the business needs and translate that vision to the Development team and an external partner by writing user stories, grooming and enriching requirements as well managing and prioritising the backlog and ensuring all decisions are well-tested.

Requirements:

• Previous product ownership / BA experience with managing mobile apps;
• Understanding of what makes great (and bad) mobile app;
• Extensive experience in stakeholder management in a changing environment;
• Experience working within ecommerce and/or retail is preferred;
• Clear understanding of the customer needs;
• Excellent communication skills;
• SAP Hybris experience desired;
• Experience with Jira / Confluence or other backlog management tools
