Request Management Coordinator

3 Month contract – Technical Coordinator in Request Management Team – Wellington based – Need ASAP

Come in to help a large service desk team triage service requests and facilitate the passing on to the correct teams, following due process.

Key Responsibilities:

– Facilitate team meetings, including triage, stand-ups, and project request discussions

– Manage the tracking tools, monitoring stats and addressing blockers

– Communicate effectively with requesters, ensuring they are informed throughout the process

– Guide requests through the fulfillment process, triaging and determining the appropriate path

Requirements:

– Pragmatic, customer-focused, and friendly demeanour

– Strong interpersonal skills to engage with busy stakeholders

– Ability to manage multiple requests, prioritise effectively, and persevere in resolving challenges – this is key to this role!

– Initiative, drive for positive customer outcomes, and a positive attitude

– Service Desk and Technology experience not necessary, but handy to have!

Experience:

– Previous experience in Agile principles and process facilitation is great, but not a necessity

– Comfortable engaging with various subject matter experts across the organisation
