Scrum Master / Agile coach 6m contract

My client is a successful Auckland CBD based IT consultancy that started in New Zealand and shortly gained a great reputation in the market around driving organisational change and transformational initiatives within customer engagement, cloud architecture, mobility and the CRM space.

My client is looking for a seasoned Scrum Master / Agile Delivery coach to join them on a 6 months contract to work with one of their large customers in the Telecommunications space, helping the leadership at a programme level and delivery teams to transition to Agile mindset, guide them through benefits of agile delivery frameworks and help to embrace new ways of working.

Key Areas of Responsibility and Tasks:

• It is a client-facing role, and the Scrum Master/Agile coach will work with various teams and leaders introducing Agile and particularly focusing on SAFe.
• Support and enable 2-3 teams to continuously deliver valuable outcomes.
• Introducing the SAFe framework.
• Improving organisations Agile maturity by coaching and developing existing Scrum and leadership teams.
• Conduct Agile ceremonies, remove team blockages and ensure optimal team flow.
• Enhance relationships with this customer through proactive and engaged account management.

The successful candidate will have:

• 3-5 years of successful Scrum Master/Agile coaching experience with large organisations.
• Solid experience with the SAFe framework.
• Strong Agile knowledge and experience in mentoring and coaching teams and leaders.
• Strong communication, stakeholders management and interpersonal skills.
• A degree of flexibility and the ability to adapt their approach to customers’ needs and requirements.
