The opportunity
- Potential for this to develop into a management opportunity.
- Well-established business across Australia and NZ.
- Several exciting projects in the pipeline- from RPA to GIS,/Web GIS, ESRI geospatial databases and asset collection, IAM, message queues, API managers, web application services, field service management, integrations and mobility development.
- The selected candidate will be responsible for identity services, solution architecture, development and integration.
- Exciting tech stack including Python, Java, JavaScript, RESTful web services, CICD. You will help decide on which tech stack to use.
- IaaS, PaaS and SaaS environment.
- Based on Otahuhu.
The ideal candidate
- Will have recent hands-on development & integration experience. This could be in any language but experience with APIs, RESTful web services and integration and/or Java, JavaScript and Python is a preference.
- Experience with ESRI geospatial systems is a plus, but not essential.
- Some background in design and architecture.
- An understanding of modern development practices such as agile.
- The ability to integrate various disparate systems to optimise them for business requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement.
- Will be happy to explore new technology and step into the unfamiliar.
