Our client is an established player in the 3D visualization space, with clients all over the globe. A small, tight-knit company that retains the feel of a start-up and definitely punches above its weight. Christchurch based, must be able to work on site for confidentiality reasons.
The role
Work with both the client and the development team in a delivery focussed role that takes on product /project ownership
Manage successful delivery of projects, manage the client relationship and budgets- to ensure the desired outcomes are delivered, on time & within budget. Establish further relationships within the client’s organisation and assist in securing further projects.
Work with a small and skilled team of developers to service some top international clients, including top fortune 500 companies in the US, Canada and Australia
Undertake core project management tasks, understand project dynamics of quality, cost and time, engage in R&D projects, engage with developers and support the business development team.
Accredited employer so help with visas is possible but the candidate needs to be in the country and available to work in Christchurch
The candidate
Experienced technical product owner or project manager with a strong background in development (this does not need to be current). You have probably been a hands-on developer in the past and used that knowledge to progress to a delivery focussed leadership role
You have a track record of successfully delivering software projects on time and on budget, ideally in interactive software
Agile experience & product management experience is a big plus
Past experience in developing in the JavaScript ecosystem, particularly with Angular.
Experience with any of the following is a plus but not essential: 3D modelling and texturing/ GIS libraries/Three.js/ Babylon.js/ WebGL, Unreal/Unity / Unigine, Python, Node/ DevOps is advantageous but not essential.
