Solution Architect – Infrastructure & End User Compute

A leading utilities company is looking for an experienced Solution Architect to who will be responsible for the Infrastructure and End User Compute domain. You will provide technology thought leadership and oversight of solution implementations for this domain. As the Solution Architect you will work closely with Enterprise Architects to contribute to high-level solution architectures and with the technical teams to ensure individual solution architectures are designed and engineered. Having experience in providing guidance and direction to the technical teams during implementation and deployment through to BAU is essential.

– Solution Architecture & detailed design
– Technology Roadmap and lifecycle engagement
– Implementation
– Planning and delivery support
– Process and standards compliance

Required experience:

– 10+ years in commercial IT environment with at least 1-2 years architecture experience
– Contributing to roadmaps, high level solution architectures and translating into detailed designs
– Engaging and leading technical teams
– Familiarity with infrastructure and cloud solutions (software, platform and infrastructure as services)
– Demonstrable experience designing and implementing common infrastructure and end user solutions, using technologies from Microsoft, Citrix, VMware, Commvault, AWS.
