Solution Architect – Integration

Solution Architect role with a specific focus on Integration working as part of an integrated architecture team. You will be responsible for assisting and contributing to the architecture practice in the areas of design, and implementation of all core technologies across the organisation.

As the Integration Domain Architect you will be responsible for designing, developing, documenting and analysing the core technology environment. Designing solutions using integration platforms such as Mulesoft, Oracle Fusion and Microsoft BizTalk.

Key Responsibilities & Attributes:

– Develop and maintain an integration architecture blueprint artefact(s) for the organisation.

– Orchestrate integration projects and corresponding strategies between business units and development teams.

– Plan, execute, and manage the integration of new applications into existing systems and software throughout the enterprise.

– Plan, execute, and manage the integration of new application integration technology into the existing API environment.

– Ensure that integration planning and practices are aligned with strategic business goals and the company’s overall strategic vision.

– Work with product/service owners to define scope, goals and deliverables of enterprise-wide projects and to gain approval to proceed, via the relevant governance authorities.

– Liaise with product/service owner and other project stakeholders to ensure alignment of delivery efforts to the domain roadmaps.

– Strategic mindset whilst being able to factor in both the short and longer term impacts.

Experience:

– At least 5-10 years direct work experience in developing integrated solutions, implementing and supporting integrated enterprise systems in a complex and similar scale enterprise environment.

– Previous experience supporting enterprise applications in a large scale enterprise environment is preferred.

– End-to-end design experience in integration platforms such as Mulesoft, Oracle Fusion and/or Microsoft BizTalk is highly preferred.

– Familiarity with ITIL, TOGAF and other IT frameworks is advantageous.
