Technical Writer

This is an exciting 3-month temp opportunity for a Technical Writer to join one of our clients based in Newmarket. We have worked with this client for many years and you can expect a diverse and inclusive work environment.

This role will see you working closely with both the project and field teams to create as-built forms along with:

• Breaking down current documentation into smaller segments for publication
• Ensuring that all changes to the standards are reviewed with exceptional attention to detail
• Working closely with the project change manager to update current standards, remove old standards and successfully roll-out the new standards

Aside from an immediate availability and commitment for 3 months, we require the following:

• Proven previous experience in a technical writing position
• Knowledge of GIS (SAP preferred) is essential
• Previous experience in the Utilities sector will be of great help to you
• Writing skills must be to a high standard and you must have a strong ability to edit and design technical documentation
• You will be required to work with various stakeholders throughout the department and you must feel comfortable communicating with a diverse group of people
