The role
- Work on exciting Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Mixed Reality, WebGL , mobile & tablet projects
- Develop cutting edge, exciting new projects based on the Unity game engine
- Emerging technology role- R & D will be an important part of this, you will have to evaluate and recommend new tech
- Work closely with the entire team, especially the designers, whose ideas you will be translating into reality
- Write functional, scalable, maintainable, beautiful code
- Ideally deal with stakeholders directly to understand their requirements
- 6 month fixed term contract- flexible and extendable
- Use your gaming experience to progress in the world of emerging technology
The candidate
- Experience with the Unity gaming engine
- Source control experience (Git/Plastic SCM)
- Experience as a developer in the Game, App, VR or AR Industries
- You will be a capable and passionate software developer, motivated to use your development skills in new, exciting ways
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and Plugins into Unity
- Agile/ Kanban experience is ideal
- Additional experience with web development, Shaders, SparkAR, Lens Studio is a plus
