We have partnered with a Global Financial Services client to hire an Application Support Analyst for 6 months & renewable contract role. In this role you will be providing operational support for the client’s infrastructure analysis system.
Responsibilities:
Supporting and fix both batch processing and interactive user applications to ensure the high availability of the Environment
Uses various tools to conduct analysis on system performance, root cause diagnostics, and systems’/applications’ design to understand and improve the operating quality of production environments.
Effectively interacts on incident bridges and calls to ensure all distributed team members are constantly informed.
Identify process improvements for change implementation and weekend checkouts; aid is incident management and root cause analysis.
Complete ownership of ensuring that changes were fully completed, and any affected services restored.
Skills:
Programming experience in at least one of the following: Java, Python or Perl or shell scripting experience.
Prior experience with any of these technologies: Ansible, AWX, Service Now, Cutover, Kafka, Kubernetes.
Experience in working with Cloud Native Platforms e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP etc.
Experience with Application Support in a Linux environment.
Experience of Operations automation using metrics, tracing and logs combined with scripting and/or open-source tools is a bonus
