Cloud Technical Lead

We are looking for a Cloud Technical Lead to join one of our global financial clients based in Kuala Lumpur to be part of the Cloud Engineering Team.

As a technical lead, you are the bridge between the business teams and technical teams to ensure the cloud initiatives are successfully rolled out regionally. From understanding the business needs and requirements, you could be the advisor on what could be done from a technical standpoint around cloud practices. It could be revolving around cloud platform, practices, services and tools.

Thereafter, you are going to work closely with the Devops and SRE team respectively to ensure the implementation goes smoothly.

As a senior person in the team, you need to walk the talk. With great technical experience moving into this role, the team will be learning from you.

What is required?

• Having the experience working in a large organization with complex cloud experience
• Has experience with any of these cloud (GCP, Azure, AWS) services
• Has strong technical understanding of the entire approach to build applications for cloud environment (infrastructure as code – IAC with Terraform, containerisation, orchestration, devops, CI/CD to scalability).
