Legal Project Manager

We are hiring Project Manager for a Social Media client for a 9 months & renewable contract role.

This Legal Project Manager job will work closely with Legal team members and cross-functional partners to manage and run complex projects with a focus on leading projects across such areas as Regulatory, Compliance, Privacy, Content, Security and E-commerce.

Job Description:

• Drive the creation of integrated project plans and timelines, including goal/scope setting with stakeholders, facilitating requirements gathering, defining roles and responsibilities, and brainstorming compliance options and solutions to be implemented.
• Lead multiple work streams and/or project teams to execute against project plans and defined scope & requirements.
• Build strong working relationships with legal teams and cross functional stakeholders, allowing for efficient collaboration, engagement and the ability to influence as appropriate.
• Proficient in all the standard project management work products (scoping, planning, reporting, tracking, risk & issue management, etc.) and the ability to integrate and synthesize information from multiple teams, including Legal, Product, Privacy, Security and Policy, in order to analyze complex issues, mitigate risks and solve problems.
• Demonstrate strong capabilities to engage directly with Legal leadership on strategy and be able to pivot to granular detail within working teams.
• Demonstrate strong stakeholder reporting and communication skills across all levels, for example, milestone project/team updates, leadership escalations, detailed working notes, etc.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of program/project management experience
• At least 1+ years of experience working on legal, compliance and/or risk management related projects
• PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2 or other relevant project management certification(s)
• High proficiency in Google Workspace/Suite, Microsoft Suite and other collaboration tools / cloud services (e.g. Asana, Quip, etc.)
• Proven ability to lead and execute on complex projects throughout all stages of the project lifecycle, and managing a diverse set of stakeholders and cross-functional teams from initiation through to close
• Experience with regulatory and compliance matters affecting the technology industry (e.g., regulatory compliance, privacy, security, content and competition issues)
• Knowledge of the regulatory landscape, trends and upcoming legislation impacting technology companies (preferably specific to APAC)
