In the capacity of a strategic business collaborator, the Country Technology Manager is tasked with upholding the technological infrastructure capabilities of the Bank. This encompasses delivering crucial support to the operations of the Retail, Wealth, and Private Banking Segments. Additionally, the role involves guaranteeing strict compliance with Country and Group policies, adherence to statutory regulations, local banking laws, anti-money laundering regulations, and industry standards. The top priority is to maintain uninterrupted service availability and the stability of the IT infrastructure that underpins essential client-facing services across different sectors.
The role involves working with various functions, APIs, and infrastructure related to retail banking.

Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement a comprehensive technology service strategy. Provide thought leadership in innovative technology deployment, create transformative solutions in line with business strategies, and influence technology investments.
Ensure technology services meet business needs within SLAs. Review and advise on service improvements. Plan capacity for growth. Streamline processes in major projects. Collaborate for enhanced client experience and revenue. Facilitate business meetings with relevant representation
Align Group Technology’s change management with country needs and assess changes’ impact. Support incident management for significant incidents, implementing policies in line with Group standards. Integrate operational disciplines, drive efficiency improvements, and ensure security for client information and assets. Streamline processes and improve client service through collaboration. Enhance business satisfaction with Group Technology services and align regional awareness with Group plans.
Lead by example to instill the right culture and values in the team. Provide feedback for key Group Technology personnel to align objectives with country technology needs. Adjust CTM team resources based on assessments from country business and Group Technology.
Facilitate balanced agreements between business groups and Group Technology, manage technology risks, and enforce compliance. Oversee Information Security Risks and ensure business continuity. Address and report risks, responding to technology risk needs and escalating significant issues to Group Technology for action.
Support the Cluster CTOO in implementing group policies and maintaining compliance standards. Establish effective change management processes. Cultivate relationships with COOs, oversee regulatory audits, and prioritize risk and compliance while promoting the Group’s ethical culture.
Exemplify Group values and ethics, ensuring the highest ethical standards, regulatory compliance, and adherence to laws and guidelines.
Lead the team in achieving the Bank’s Conduct Principles and address risk, conduct, and compliance matters proactively with others.
