Technical Writer

Salt Talent Search is looking for a Technical Writer for a 12-month contract role. This role is with a well know entertainment client

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct audits and assessment of existing documentation.
• Create, edit, and maintain language-related documentation for external audiences, including vendors and localization specialists.
• Collaborate with Language Management, Partner Engagement, and the working group to align on documentation strategy and milestones.
• Develop supporting materials such as FAQs, quick-start guides, and training resources.
• Ensure all content aligns with company standards for clarity, consistency, and usability.
• Organize and structure documentation using established templates and style guides.
• Maintain documentation quality in fast-paced, iterative environments.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in technical writing, documentation, or content development.
• Perfect command of English grammar, style, and tone
• Proficiency in documentation tools (e.g. MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, Confluence, MS Word, Google Office)
• Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and make them understandable for diverse audiences. Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Experience working in agile or fast-paced development environments is desirable.
• Familiarity with UX principles and user-centered design.
• Experience writing documentation for generative AI tools, AI APIs, or machine learning platforms. Understanding of prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, and evaluation methodologies.
