UX Writer, Commerce & Subscriptions

UX Writer | 12-month Contract | LA – Hybrid

Our client, a global leader in technology and digital services, is looking for a UX Writer to craft seamless and intuitive experiences for commerce and subscription flows. This role focuses on reducing friction in purchasing and bundling services, ensuring clarity, consistency, and a user-friendly voice across all touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities

• Write and refine UX copy for checkout experiences, product offerings, and subscription services.
• Shape tone, language, and design systems for commerce-related interfaces.
• Develop user flows, product logic, and feature naming while maintaining brand consistency.
• Collaborate with product, design, engineering, legal, and localization teams.
• Translate complex systems into clear, concise, and engaging content.
• Advocate for user-centric language while aligning with privacy and security standards.

Key Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in UX writing, particularly for commerce or checkout flows.
• Strong understanding of payment and subscription models, both locally and globally.
• Ability to balance storytelling with systematic thinking in UX copy.
• Familiarity with design tools, wireframing, and functional specs.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
