PR Manager

Our client is looking for a PR manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be shaping and executing the film publicity campaigns for dramas, comedies and documentary films, through multiple earned media channels. As well, they will be in charge of communicating with producers, talent, representatives and production company partners during production up to and beyond launch.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Responsible for coordinating with teams in the US and internationally, helping devise and execute PR and Influencer Marketing initiatives.
• Monitoring news and buzz coverage, tracking earned media value, writing internal reports and PR copy, creating presentation decks, and helping to manage relationships with external partners.
• Partner closely with the Product Marketing team and be expected to understand and memorize in-depth technical information on the company’s products.
• The position will focus on creating cultural moments and delivering strategic, meaningful campaigns and collaborate with filmmakers, talent and internal teams to secure coverage in a wide range of media.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 6+ years experience in public relations or journalism with at least 3 years of in-house PR experience.
• Experience managing agencies (international agency management is a plus).
• Has strong relationships with media and influencers across technology, entertainment, sports and/or fashion/beauty.
• Possess a positive team-player attitude and be passionate about consumer technology.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and thrive in a very dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A self-starter who is dedicated and demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills and detailed project management skills.
