Salt is partnering with a revolutionary CPG retail company looking to hire a Senior Marketing Analytics Manager. This is a full-time, permanent position based out of Austin, TX.
This position is responsible for delivering data-driven, actionable insights to help optimize the business. You will analyze a variety of market, competitor, behavioral, and transactional data to enhance understanding of overall business performance and optimize planning for various marketing initiative and programs.
The role:
- Utilizes advanced analytical methods to identify patterns, relationships and trends across multiple data sources
- Construct narratives which can be understood by a broad (non-techincal) audience and proven empirically through data and analysis
- Oversees analysis of customer data, including leveraging custom segmentation models to provide insights into customer engagement, profitability, and shopping behavior to inform strategy
- Identify test & learn opportunities to quantify the incremental benefit of marketing and loyalty program campaigns and initiatives
- Partner with marketing program and channel managers to ensure reporting and analytics alignment
- Prepare quarterly media performance reviews to inform media plans, financial forecasting, and identify areas for efficiency improvements
- Lead efforts with cross-functional stakeholders, translating business questions into analyses that inform business critical decisions
Your profile:
- Understanding of analytics, marketing operations, business analysis, loyalty programs, or related fields
- Working knowledge of regression and classification models. Additionally, prefer exposure to more advanced forecasting and machine learning techniques
- Strong working knowledge of SQL, Python and/or R
- Strong ability to design / analyze controlled experiments (test/control, pre/post); develop and activate against a consumer segmentation
- Build and nurture relationships with senior-level stakeholders and leaders
- Ability to oversee and advise on project management issues and assist with overcoming barriers
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of the WFM product mix, supply base, and retail operations
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline; a Graduate degree is preferred
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience developing marketing measurement methods (marketing mix modeling solutions, predictive modeling techniques, leading media mix and predictive modeling initiatives)
